Jack Gordon

Jack Gordon has spent his entire professional career in the criminal justice field. He served as a law enforcement officer for the City of San Jose and the County of Santa Cruz. During his sixteen year career in law enforcement,  Mr. Gordon was elected President of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association, co- authored Statutory Duties and Authorities Manual (California State Sheriff’s Association 1988-1989), served as Team Leader for the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), and worked on special assignment with both  the Homicide Task Force and Rape Task Force. While serving in law enforcement, Mr. Gordon earned his B.A. in History from San Jose State University, graduating with Great Distinction, and then went on to complete his Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University.

Mr. Gordon became a practicing attorney in 1993 and since that time has become one of the most effective and respected attorneys in the Bay Area. As his reputation and expertise grew, Mr. Gordon was asked and accepted as an Instructor at San Jose State University’s Institute of Criminal Investigations, was appointed by the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors as a commissioner on the Civil Service Commission, including serving as Chairperson, and was a member of the Santa Clara County Arbitration Panel. Mr. Gordon’s experience speaks for itself – in his years of professional practice he has handled over 1,000 juvenile cases, over 1,500 adult criminal cases, including 25 cases involving representation of individuals charged with Murder.
